Terms & Conditions of Booking
We’re always happy to chat on the phone about any detail of your holiday, to make sure you make the right choice for your family and friends.
All self-catering cottages are fully equipped and inclusive of bed linen and bath towels. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
Heating is included in the price of all three cottages. The Cart House and The Granary have gas central heating; the heating in The Milking Parlour is electric. All cottages have hot water on demand.
In the Granary, we provide a basket of logs for the wood burner. Additional logs can be bought from us.
A booking deposit of 25% is required with the balance payable 4 weeks in advance of your holiday start date. All monies paid are non-refundable. On our acceptance of the booking and payment of the deposit, the client becomes liable for the balance of the rent for the period of the letting. We strongly recommend that guests take out their own cancellation insurance.
Payment can be made by card, BACS or cheque.
The exact number of people that can be accommodated in each cottage is clearly stated in the description. Please let us know if you need an additional cot or high chair when you book. For insurance reasons, the maximum number of guests must not be exceeded at any time.
Clients are responsible for the cottage and should take care of it. We understand that breakages do sometimes happen and ask you to report any breakage or damage immediately. We may ask you to pay for replacements or repairs, depending on the nature of the damage, and reserve the right to inspect the accommodation for damage and deficiencies before departure.
Cottages will be ready for your arrival from 4.00pm on the first day of your holiday; please make sure you are ready to leave by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Liability
While every effort is made to ensure the safety of guests, the cottages are used entirely at guests’ own risk. No responsibility is taken for loss or damage to guests’ own property. In the event that we are unable to provide the cottage as stated, liability is restricted to return of monies paid.
A deposit equivalent to the first night’s tariff is required for all reservations. Cancellations must be made 72 hours before the start date or the guest is liable for the full cost of the room. Rooms will be ready from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.
