DOGS WELCOME HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN SOUTH PEMBROKESHIRE

Our dog policy

We are happy to welcome one well-behaved dog (occasionally more – please call us to discuss if you’d like to bring more than one dog with you) in each of our holiday cottages and Freshwater East beach is dog-friendly all year round, making it the ideal location for a holiday with your four-legged friend.

As well as the Pembrokeshire coastal path, there are several great walks straight from your door – we’ve put together a list of our favourites which you can find in the information folder in each cottage.  There’s an outdoor tap and hosepipe so you can wash off mud if you’ve been for a long walk, or sand if you’ve been at the beach.  We can lend you dog towels if you need them so you can keep your cottage clean and dry.

While each cottage has its own patio, all our guests share the grassy field at the back of the cottages. So that everyone can enjoy their holiday, we do ask dog owners to follow a few basic guidelines.

Make sure your dog is under control at all times and don’t leave them unattended anywhere in or around your cottage

Please exercise your dogs in the lower part of the field – we’ll show you when you arrive.

Make sure you clear up after your dog and place the bags in the bin provided.

Please don’t leave your dog alone in the cottage, unless they’re in a secure cage: even the best-behaved dog can behave out of character in an unfamiliar place. If you want to spend some time on holiday without your dog, there are a number of doggy day-care options locally.

Don’t let your dog upstairs in your cottage or in the bedrooms.

Don’t let your pet sit on the furniture or on the beds.

Before your holiday, please make sure your dog is up to date with all worming and flea treatment.

We make a small charge of £25 per dog per week and reserve the right to charge more if we need to make good any damage caused by your pet.
