Dog friendly holiday cottage - Sleeps 2 + baby

Relax on the balcony or the sunny patio, listening to birdsong and the sound of the sea in this spacious and serene space.  Converted from centuries-old farm buildings, the Cowshed cottage is light, bright and well-equipped.  Sleeping two with one double bedroom, it has been completely newly refurbished to a very high standard ensuring comfort at any time of year.

For larger groups, the Cowshed can be booked with one or more of our other cottages surrounding the old farmyard.

Full of character, the Cowshed has recently been converted to create an airy and spacious one-bedroom cottage.  The front door opens onto a flower-filled South-facing patio and French windows at the back of the cottage open onto a large private balcony overlooking a wooded valley, giving options for al fresco eating or just soaking up the views.  Steps down from the balcony lead onto a large field, shared by guests in all our cottages.  There’s plenty of space in the field for exercising dogs, playing table tennis in the barn, ball games on the grass and hanging out washing.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all new Bosch white goods including a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  The full electric oven, grill and hob mean you can cook for yourself if you want to, and there are plenty of options for eating out within a short drive.  The living/dining area has a table and chairs for two, which could double up as a work area, and a  comfortable sofa for curling up with a good book, watching TV or just gazing out of the window.

The Cowshed has one double bedroom with space for a travel cot and the separate bathroom has a walk-in shower.  

Light and airy for the summer months, the cottage is fully double-glazed and has central heating throughout as well as an efficient wood burner for colder weather.  Your first load of logs, kindling and firelighters is included in the price of the cottage and we can supply additional firewood if needed at a reasonable cost.
