Conditions of Booking - Self Catering Cottages (To make a booking go to Contact us)

All self catering bookings are inclusive of bed linen and electricity but clients renting cottages must provide their own towels, tea-towels and, if needed, cot linen. Towels are available at £5.00 per person per week.

Cottages 1 & 2 are centrally heated by gas which is metered and charged separately at the end of the rental term. (Cottage 3 is all electric and therefore included)

A booking deposit of 25% is required and should be enclosed with your booking form, the balance being payable 4 weeks in advance of your holiday. Cheques should be made payable to 'East Trewent Farm'. We do not acknowledge final cheques. Upon payment of the deposit, and subject to acceptance of the booking, the client becomes liable for the balance of the rent for the period of the letting. In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the accommodation in order to minimise any losses. Clients may wish to consider their own cancellation insurance.

The exact number of people, for each property, is clearly stated in the description. This number must not be exceeded at any time.

Clients are responsible for the cottage and should take care of it, and pay for any damage or breakage. Please report any damage immediately. We reserve the right to inspect the accommodation for damage and deficiencies before departure. The accommodation should be left clean and tidy and after satisfactory inspection the security deposit will be returned.

Liability - while every effort is made to ensure the safety of guests, the cottages are used entirely at guests' own risk. No responsibility is taken for loss or damage to guests' own property. In the event that we are unable to provide the cottage as stated, liability is restricted to return of monies paid.

Accommodation will be ready for occupation after 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

A deposit equivalent to the first night's tariff is required to secure the booking, for reservations upto six nights. For reservations of seven nights or more 25% deposit is required with the balance paid four weeks prior to your holiday.
